Lifestyle | Henley-on-Thames

Those of you who read this blog and live in the UK may have heard of Henley, as it hosts arguably the most famous annual regatta (posh hats and all!). Recently, we went on a family day out to this lovely little riverside town on the border between Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Here’s what we got up to…

After we’d driven around the town to get a little look at it, we sat down to lunch on the high street in Maison Blanc. We all went for Chicken Club sandwiches, which were all sublime. Rounded off with macaroons and mochas, lunch was a success!

We then had a wander around the local shops and along the beautiful riverside. I even found my dream home…

After we’d done enough walking for the day, we stumbled across the cutest little Pottery Painting shop. We all used to have pottery painting parties when we were little kids, so we decided to give it a go and get back in touch with our childhood!

All in all, Henley-on-Thames is a quaint riverside town that is definitely worth a visit!
