Review | Sofra, St Christopher’s Place

I’ve been meaning to sit down and write this post since April. Woops. My apologies.

Anyway, over our Easter break (which seems like years ago now), my friend and I wandered around London looking for somewhere to lunch. With both of use being huge fans of Mediterranean cuisine, we were both rather excited when we found Sofra in St Christopher’s Place.

St Christopher’s Place, just off Oxford Street, is worth a blog post in and of itself. But for now, let’s stick to my Sofra experience.

The menu is extensive so whatever you like to eat, there’s bound to be something! We went for  a variety of starters to share between the two of us. My personal favourite were the Vine Leaf Parcels with Beef (ooo, fancy!).

Then, we both opted for the lamb tagine as our main dish and ordered some tabbouleh on the side. Hands down, it was one of the best tagines I’ve ever eaten. I’m starting to salivate just thinking about it.

For a restaurant in the heart of London, the bill wasn’t too much of a shock to the system!

If you ever get the chance, go out with friends or family to this beautiful Turkish restaurant. Make sure to get lots of sharing dishes and drink lots of wine. You’re welcome.

Have you found any great restaurants lately? Let me know in the comments below!
