Lifestyle | Windsor’s Hidden Gems

As I live pretty close to Windsor, I always forget that people actually come and visit for purposes other than to go to Nando’s or take the kids to Legoland. So, without further ado, here’s my pick of the top 5 less well known places in Windsor & Eton that are definitely worth a visit…

1. The Chocolate Theatre Co

This cute little cafe is situated at the bottom of the bridge that connects Windsor & Eton and it is honestly one of the best places I have ever been. Buckets of rich hot chocolate accompanied by scrumptious slices of cake? Yes please.

2. Pots About U

Whilst this sounds like a bit of a cheesy pick up line, it is actually in fact a pottery painting studio. Having had my 8th birthday party here, it holds a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, I couldn’t dig up or find any photos of the place but it’s cute and can be found down a side street as you walk into Eton. The fun name also means it could be a cute first date idea!

3. Don Beni Italian Restaurant

This beautiful Italian restaurant can be found on Eton high street and serves everything from pizza to pasta to traditional Italian meaty mains. It is extremely romantic and the perfect place to take your other half for a date night!

4. Al Fassia Morrocan Restaurant

This cute little place can be found at the bottom of Peascod Street in Windsor, through the winding side streets of restaurants. It is truly a hidden gem and one visit here will make you feel like you’re in Marrakech!

5. Cinnamon Cafe

In the heart of the high street, this is the perfect place to grab a coffee or cake after tiring yourself out with all that heavy duty shopping. Beats Starbucks, and their belgian waffles are to die for.
